Timeline for Ordering Wedding or Quinceañera Tuxedos
- 3 to 6 months before the wedding...
- Make a list of all of the Men in your wedding party that will need to wear a Tuxedo.
Groom, Best Man, Groomsmen, Jr. Groomsmem, Ring Bearer, Ushers, Fathers, etc. - Visit Formalwear Outlet in Hillsborough and be sure to bring any fabric swatches or color samples that you would like to match.
- Use the Build-A-Tux tool on JimsFormalwear.com to mix and match tuxedos & accessories before or after you visit our store.
- Make a list of all of the Men in your wedding party that will need to wear a Tuxedo.
- 2 to 5 months before the wedding...
- Finalize your Tuxedo and Accessory choices and place your order.
- Contact any Out-of-Town Groomsmen and arrange for them to be measured at their local Authorized Jim's Formal Wear Retailer
- Download the Out of Town Measurement Card to be sure you obtain the necessary measurements.
- 6 to 8 weeks before the wedding...
- The Groom and local Groomsmen should visit Formalwear Outlet to be measured and fitted for their tuxedos.
- Out-of-Town Groomsmen measurements should be collected so that all orders can be placed.
- 1 week before the wedding...
- The groom and groomsmen should plan for final fittings, adjustments and to pick up the tuxedos 2 days before the wedding.
- Make sure that each person tries on his tuxedo before leaving the store.
- the first business day after the wedding...
- Return the tuxedos to Formalwear Outlet. Late returns may be subject to a fee!
