Terms of Participation

By providing your information, you acknowledge that you and your parent or legal guardian have read, understand and agreed to our Contest Rules. You also acknowledge consent from your parent or legal guardian to have your photograph and name published on www.formalwearoutlet.com and/or www.facebook.com/FormalwearOutlet to be judged.

To be eligible to win a Prom Dress or Prom Tuxedo of your choice from Formalwear Outlet's Prom 2012 collection you must be a High School Student graduating in 2012 or 2013 and a "Fan" of Formalwear Outlet on Facebook. Contest will have winners in both female and male categories.
Entrants must be able to collect their prize in person by visiting Formalwear Outlet located at 415 Millstone Drive Hillsborough, North Carolina 27278.
*If by chance a contest winner purchases their Prom Tuxedo or Prom Dress at Formalwear Outlet before the contest winners are announced please keep your original cash register receipt and you will be refunded your purchase price.


Valid Entrants must accurately and fully complete the online Contestant Entry Form. You will receive a Confirmation of Entry Email asking you to Email one image of yourself wearing a Formal Dress or Tuxedo. When we receive this picture we will post to www.Facebook.com/FormalwearOutlet. You agree to comply with all of the Terms of Participation as set forth on this website. By entering this contest you give Formalwear Outlet permission to use your name and photo in a manner consistent with the terms of this contest.

New Entry Forms will be accepted from February 1, 2012 until February 22, 2012. Entry forms will be processed and photos will be posted online for judging during this time and will continue to be available for judging by "Fans" of Formalwear Outlet on Facebook until February 29, 2012.
The sooner you submit your entry form and reply with a photo the sooner you can begin to earn votes.

Entrants should encourage friends and family to vote by first "Liking" Formalwear Outlet on Facebook and then "Liking" the contestant's photo on www.facebook.com/FormalwearOutlet. Voters may vote once per photo for the duration of the contest.

The Male and Female Contestant with the most votes at 11:59 pm on February 29, 2012 will be the contest "Winners".
The Female winner will receive her choice of any Prom Dress from Formalwear Outlet's Prom 2012 in stock inventory.
The Male winner will receive a Tuxedo Package which includes his choice of Tuxedo Jacket, Pants, Shirt, Vest, Tie, Studs and Cufflinks from Formalwear Outlet's Prom 2012 in stock inventory.

Winners will be notified by email no later than Friday March 2, 2012 and must reply to this email within 5 days to confirm acceptance of his or her Prize. Failure to do so or inability to collect prize in person will result in forfeiture or Prize and Formalwear Outlet shall have the right to cancel the award and select the runner-up as the prize winner. Awards and/or prizes are personal to each Winner and are not transferable or redeemable for cash*, substitution or resale.

Formalwear Outlet has the right to terminate or alter the rules of the Contest at any time without notice for any reason whatsoever. Entries are subject to verification and may be rejected without assigning any reason. Entrants agree to abide by the Contest Terms of Participation and the decisions of the Formalwear Outlet Fans who serves as sole voters in this contest, which are final and cannot be challenged. This contest will be modified or void as necessary to comply with any applicable state or federal laws.

After the contest, Winners must claim Prize in person at Formalwear Outlet 415 Millstone Drive Hillsborough, NC 27278 before April 28, 2012. Winners must bring a State Issued Photo ID or Driver's License and a your most recent School Reportcard to verify all information provided at registration is current and accurate.
