For group orders we recommend that measurements are taken by one person if at all possible to maintain consistency. Measurements should be taken in inches. We ask that you provide the most accurate measurements to ensure proper fit.
  • For better accuracy, have someone else take your measurements
  • Hold the tape measure straight and tight
  • If your measurement is in between sizes, order the next size larger

1. Chest Measurement
Measure around chest, just below arm pits. From this we will determine your jacket size.

Jacket Length & Height
Jacket lengths range from Short, Regular, Long, and Extra Long.
We ask for a height in addition to sleeve length to determine which length will be appropriate.

2. Neck Size
You can simply measure around your neck and keep at least one finger between your neck and the tape measure. This measurement in inches is your neck size.

Men's Small 14 - 14 1/2
Men's Medium 15 - 15 1/2
Men's Large 16 - 16 1/2
Men's X-Large 17 - 17 1/2
Men's 2X-Large 18 - 18 1/2

3. Sleeve Length
Hold arm straight out to your side parallel to the floor, bend your elbow 90 degrees in front of you (not pointed at the ceiling as the image depicts).
Place the tape at the middleof the back (spine), measure from middle back around the elbow (of lifted arm) and add one inch past your wrist. This measurement is your sleeve length.

If you get a measurement less than 30" you may be measuring incorrectly. As a point of reference a person of average height often wears a 34" or 35" sleeve.

4. Waist Size
Wrap a tape measure over a shirt around your waist at the height you usually wear your slacks. Tuxedo pants are made to be worn at the natural waist (your navel) and not on your hips. Keep one finger between tape and body.
You do not want these pants to be baggy in the waist or length.

FYI: The tuxedo pants that we offer are adjustable in the waist between
3 sizes at set intervals (27"-29", 30"-32", 33"-35", 36"-38", etc.)
Please note in your order the most accurate measurement that you can and we will select the appropriate size.

**When selecting pants for your order we will try to get as close to the inseam or outseam measurement you've provided and if not available we will make sure that the pants have enough length to be let out. Occasionally alterations will be necessary to get the exact length you require.

5. Inseam
Take a pair of dress pants that fit you well, lay flat with side seams together.
Fold one leg back and measure flat leg from crotch inseam to bottom of pant. Make sure that these pants are not excessively long and baggy.

Outseam
If you prefer to measure outseams make sure your pants are at the level of your natural waist and you are standing straight. Place the tape on the waistband (horizontally in line with the navel), and extend tape down side of leg to just below the ankle. This is the outseam measurement.
